Dali (Feb.11-12)

Dali located in Yunnan province in the south of China, located on a fertile plateau between the Cangshan mountains to the west and Erhai lake to the east, is worth a stopover. Some of the mountains are more than 4000 meters high. Compared to the lake level which is around 1960 meters, it is quite a steep inclination. Symbol of Dali: The Three Pagodas of Chong Sheng Temple

We hiked around and enjoyed the view.
..and also found a pretty freaky temple built into the mountain wall.

Rough weather at the Erhai Lake.

Old City Gate.

Family making noodles.

Pictures for the cat fans.
This is the standard transport device that you can see everywhere in Yunnan-Province. Solid structure, belt drive and blue smoke. These are the characteristic features of this model.
