Ni hao Chinese sympathizers, I am staying in Beijing, China for one year to get familiar with different kinds of rice sorts, learn how to throw chopsticks, practice spitting and riding a bike without tyres .. or is this sheer nonsense? I'll clear you up!

Shi Lin (Feb. 10)

On the train again from Guilin over Nanning to Kunming. We found out that the Stoneforest in Shi Lin was directly on our way...sow we got out at 4.30 am with our gear... We arrived at the park at 5 am. It was supposed to be 24h-open just like Huashan, but the gate people were sleeping so why just walked in for free...
Stars over the big stones as we made our way to the pagoda.

From this spot we waited forever for the sun to rise!

Finally, the sun made it over the tops of the rocks.
You can actually walk through this forest. The pathes have crazy directions, up and down, extremely narrow, make you crawl on the ground etc.
Naturally shaped elephant?

Mommy and son?

Almost got stuck in there. Big fat belly, you, it's your fault!
